Working with Radhika Chandrashekar and Indigo Creatives, we animated small segments for Discovery Channel’s Dark Mysteries. The mood of the show about paranormal events across India led us drawing heavily from the textures of charcoal animation - adding only a bloody shade of red to the monochrome palette to heighten the horror.
Gritty brush work, blended textures and irregular linework set against live action footage made these mysterious stories come to life on screen. Dark Mysteries is available to stream on Discovery+.
